So why choose a map of middle earth for my diptych this week?
When I first saw Lord of the Rings, it was only because my brother bought my ticket (he thought I needed to be educated), and I knew nothing about it, least of all that it was a trilogy. I was so somewhat dissappointed when the end of the movie came and the ring was nowhere near Mordor!
Roll on a few years, I have seen the films and read the books and fallen truely in love with JRR Tolkien's myths of Middle Earth. I saw the Hobbit with some friends yesterday and looking forward to seeing it again with my familym, and this time I know there are three films!
