The Diptych Project: Snow

So I confess, I actually took this photo last monday along with the photo from the signs diptych. The snow didn't look this lovely for long - it never does when you are in a city.
What I loved about last weeks snow storm was that it went on the trees and stayed there, well long enough to take photos anyway. I don't even remember the last time that happened so spectacularly in London, (I think the last time it did, I was in Hawaii!). 

So considering this is a diptych project between an American and a Brit, I thought it would be nice to include something special to the UK occasionally, and what can more more British than the telephone box?

It is strange to think I actually used these, that anyone did. Now with our mobiles, we never need to worry but there were times when you would be out and about and the sight of one of these would be such a comfort. I wander what is store for their future?

ha! I remembered and I was waiting for this to be posted this evening! Nice photo, Evie! I never thought of the phone box - I only got as far as the letter box at the other end of this road - opposite the surgery.
