Now I'm not one to declare this is 'the one', more I try to be flexible and happy with my choices and pick the best.So one important choice for a woman just engaged is engagement ring, which one to get!? Big, small, diamonds, something else, gold, silver, thin, fat. The choices are endless and overwhelming.
I really couldn't decide, but did know that I wasn't keen on spending a huge amount of our budget on an diamond engagement ring, but I didn't want it to look too cheap. Which ruled out using hoola hoops.
This weekend, we were on holiday up North visiting my friend Ellie and her family. Ellie and I sent the boys on their way to go on a boys only hike, whilst we went to look at wedding dresses. Sadly whilst we found nothing in the way of pretty and affordable wedding dresses, another shop caught my eye for it's jewellery.
And as we came in and looked around, and as I saw this ring. I knew it was 'the one', the colour, the stone, and the price!
Ellie patiently waited as I tried different sizes. Thanks Ellie:-) I'm happy to say the fiance has ordered the ring and I look forward to taking possession in 2 or 3 weeks, and the next time you see this it will be on my hand and not the shopkeepers! One of the boys joked that the wait was for the oyster to make the pearl - which I quite like the idea of!
