So with the proposal comes so many decisions.
No.1 Where to have the ceremony?
We have finally decided to have the ceremony at my church, St Saviours, Hanley Rd, it is the church I worship at most weeks and part of my community, my life, and is *very* close by to where I was born!
This photo below I took at the christening of my friend's baby, such a fun, happy event. As I am used to their just being about 30 to 50 people at the evening service I attend, I *cannot* wait to see it pack out with our friends and family as I walk down the aisle. It is going to be a special special moment.
It is always extra special doing photo shoots with friends, the laughter and the chatting flow and relaxed faces make for happy photos.
My friends Imogen and Will recently welcomed this beautiful new addition in to their lives. Freya is such a lovely baby - there was a little crying, but mostly it was a little smiling, a little sleeping, a little waking. The perfect photo shoot really.
Thanks for being such a star, Freya!
Earlier this year, some good friends of mine (Matilda and Phil) finally tied the knot! I've known Matilda quite a long time now and it has been so great to see her and Phil's relationship blossom over the past three years they have been dating. They are such awesome people and the wedding day reflected this beautifully.
The first day I met A and J, I was charmed by their friendliness and generosity, and it has been such a pleasure to get to know them better, to see them get engaged and now finally married!
The wedding took place in a lovely grand church, St Paul's Hammersmith. Whilst the previous few days had been quite rainy, the clouds parted and the sun shone for Aand J's big day.
I often think when you book a wedding photographer, you are buying in to their personality as much as their style. And as a photographer, when taking clients, you pick people you know you will get on with. You will spend a lot of time together through the day and it is really important to like each other!
On this occasion I got to shoot with the amazing Pui of Love Oh Love. It was such an honour to meet and shoot with her as she is an amazing photographer and person, and I am delighted to be booking her as photographer for my wedding in April.

There are five trees in front of my house which I have enjoyed photographing over the past year or so - and saving the photos in a folder called 'Five Trees'. I just have loved seeing the seasonal changes of the same scene.
As I was sorting out my photos though, I found that these two photos were both taken on the same day, November 17th. One at 9ish and one at 10ish - 'tis a bit of a contrast!
